In 2023, Extra Acrobatic Aircraft unveiled its latest masterpiece, a brand new design, the Extra 330SX. It’s an improvement from the 330SC, which has had great success in championships in RC and Full-scale aircraft.
Now, Pilot-RC is proud to announce our next masterpiece.
The Extra 330SX is the latest variation of the Extra family. Each version has different flight characteristics. The ultimate goal is to achieve maximum aerobatic performance on every release. The Extra 330SX resulted in a more precise, floaty, and much more agile plane.
Leading the project design, Ryu Sintuphrom and our factory team pilots thoroughly carried out a long development and test process to get the best performance.
During the process, we tested many design ideas with no compromises; we tested different wing profiles, aileron designs, and wing positions on the fuselage to find the CG sweet spot for all flying styles.
Ultimately, our factory team pilots were very satisfied with the performance of this airframe, leading to the final product.
We proudly and confidently say this airframe achieved the best performance balance ever. In a few words, it’s super precise in high speed/energy but also super stable and predictable at slow speeds.
Combining Pilot-RC’s latest build innovations, this new design provides a superb-quality kit. It includes the NEW 2025 quick-release stabilizer system. This new feature is quick, solid, and convenient, designed to minimize the setup time once in the field.
